Pasture lease applications will be accepted from March 15 until April 19, 2024

Within the framework of the State Program "Access to State-Owned Pastures", data on agricultural land plots categorized as pastures, available for leasing in the eleventh stage has been selected and is now publicly accessible.

The data is available on 176 pasture plots of Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Imereti, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti and Guria regions with a total area of ​​9,875 hectares. The data on pasture plots are as follows: Aspindza - 3, Akhaltsikhe - 1, Ninotsminda - 14, Borjomi - 9, Dmanisi - 20, Tsalka - 2, Marneuli - 5, Dedoflistskaro - 29, Sagarejo - 4, Telavi - 3, Sighnaghi - 14, Kvareli - 5 , Akhmeta - 4, Gurjaan - 3, Lagodekhi - 3, Mtskheta - 4, Kazbegi - 2, Dusheti - 1, Gori - 9, Kaspi - 2, Kareli - 2, Khashuri - 4, Tskaltubo - 13, Baghdati - 1, Vani - 6, Zestaponi -1, Chiatura - 2, Senaki -2, Tsalenjikha -1, Khobi - 2, Oni - 2, Lanchkhuti - 3.

Within the framework of the program, in 2022-2023, the Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring selected and published data for leasing 45,726 hectares of pasture land in 10 stages and received applications from interested persons. During this period, 13,446 hectares of pastures were leased.

At the eleventh stage, detailed information on pastures available for lease is accessible on the websites of the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring, as well as the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (www.land.gov.ge, www.mepa.gov.ge ).

The State Program "Access to State-Owned Pastures" has been implemented since 2021. The program allows livestock owners to secure and use preferred pastures through an auction within the framework of a three-year lease agreement. The program aims to promote rational pasture use, protect pastures from degradation, and facilitate the development of the livestock sector by establishing legitimate private responsibility for pastures.
