National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring Hosts Korean Students
Students from the Faculty of Climate Change at Kookmin University in the Republic of Korea visited the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring as part of an educational initiative during their stay in Georgia.
Mr. Mindia Jokhadze, Deputy Chairman of the Agency, welcomed the delegation and presented an overview of the Agency’s mandate, current activities, and future plans.
The discussion covered key aspects of Georgia’s state policy on sustainable land use, practical approaches to its implementation, and the Agency’s collaboration with non-governmental organizations.
The visiting students showed keen interest in topics related to land use and management. Their questions focused on the Agency’s strategic priorities, land monitoring technologies, and the mechanisms of cooperation among stakeholders involved in policy implementation.
The Agency reaffirmed its commitment to hosting similar educational visits in the future, underscoring the importance of sharing Georgia’s expertise and fostering international dialogue on environmental and land management issues.
