The Government of Georgia has approved the amendments in the state program “Access to State-Owned pastures”
Amendments were made to the Resolution No. 497 of October 6, 2021, at the initiative of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
The purpose of these amendments is the efficient implementation of the state program "Access to State-Owned Pastures".
LEPL – the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring was accepting applications 30 calendar days after the publication of the information about pastures on the websites of the Ministry and the Agency ( www.mepa.gov.ge ; www.land.gov.ge). With the amendments approved at the government session the mentioned deadline was cancelled, and the agency will start receiving applications as soon as the information is published.
According to the amendments, the submission of the form N1 of the veterinary certificate issued by the National Food Agency for cattle and/or small cattle owned by the applicant for participating in the program has been cancelled, reducing the number of documents to be submitted by the participant.
