The meeting involved discussions on the terms for incorporating farmers into the state program and on the local government's role in efficiently managing the process.
It was emphasized that the proper utilization of pasture resources in the country is crucial for safeguarding the suitability and productivity of the land, thereby fostering the development of animal husbandry.
The "State-Owned Pastures" program was approved on October 6, 2021. The program allows farmers with cattle and small cattle to secure and use preferred pasture through an auction within the framework of a three-year lease agreement. As of today, pastures to be leased through auction have been published in three stages; Registration of those wishing to join the program is underway.
