National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring and Georgian Technical University sign a memorandum of cooperation
According to the terms of the memorandum the collaboration aims to enhance students' understanding of state policies on sustainable land management, engage young researchers and professors in initiatives to combat desertification and land degradation, restore soil fertility and manage windbreaks, and coordinate the planning and execution of a range of collaborative activities.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Giorgi Misheladze, the Chairman of the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring and Karlo Kopaliani, the Chancellor of the Georgia Technical University.
During the event, Giorgi Misheladze provided a comprehensive overview of the agency's operations, highlighted the various programs undertaken by the organization, and emphasized the agency's willingness and openness to collaborate with students.
Karlo Kopaliani pointed out that in the recent period there has been a notable increase in demand for graduates from various fields of Georgian Technical University, including energy, construction, mining-geological, and other faculties.
It was emphasized that the planning and execution of collaborative events would play a significant role in achieving the objectives outlined in the memorandum.
